Parents and students know how expensive and confusing college preparation can be. Restoration is once again partnering with A-List Education, an internationally accredited college preparation program, to offer a free 12 week SAT prep class to high school students in Central Brooklyn A new offering this year is a year-long college tracking program for high school juniors that will engage participants in a comprehensive package combining SAT prep, preparation for the college application process and financial aid guidance. These courses will begin October 18th at the Economic Solutions Center Central location.

Since its inception a few years ago, 40 to 60 students have enrolled with the A-List program at Restoration annually. They attend various local high schools such as Bedford Academy, Boys and Girls High School, Gotham Professional Arts Academy, and several others. Two of our former Elsie E. Richardson scholarship awardees have also gone through the program.

A-List is an innovative educational services provider that serves more than 70,000 students and educators worldwide through their tutoring, school and non-profit programs Students who attend the classes regularly have seen their SAT scores jump by an average of 100 points. Many program alumni have received scholarships from institutions of higher education. Besides core academic topics, students are familiarized with financial aid, college essays, the college application process and much more.
