The Economic Solutions Center welcomes John Hope Bryant, as October’s Wealth Building Wednesday guest speaker. Bryant will be discussing the Racial Wealth Gap with Restoration President and CEO Colvin W. Grannum, as well as his most recent book “The Memo”. This event will take place on October 17th from 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m at the Economics Solution Center Central (1368 Fulton Street).

Since 1992, Bryant has been on a mission to raise financial awareness and education in African-American communities throughout the country. Inspired by the infamous Rodney King case in Los Angeles, Bryant founded Operation Hope. It has since become the largest minority-owned provider of financial inclusion and economic empowerment tools and services in the United States. Bryant has built a successful career using his financial savvy and knowledge of assets to educate others on furthering their life goals. He and Grannum will discuss his experience and topics related to closing wealth gaps, poverty and entrepreneurship.

Named “Innovator of the Year” by American Banker magazine in 2016, Bryant teaches inner city residents how to lead successful lives through smart business practices and using financial tools wisely. His humble beginnings in California prepared him for high profile roles such as being a member of President Barack Obama's Advisory Council on Financial Capability. Restoration is proud to present this uniquely successful and inspiring author, entrepreneur and social activist.

The first 100 people who RSVP and attend will receive a free copy of “The Memo”. To learn more about John Hope Bryant and Operation Hope visit:
