Barry has worked with seniors, the disabled and caregivers since 1974 helping them navigate senior programs. First with the US Department of Health and Human Services, (DHHS) for 43 years and for the past five years as a Medicare Counselor/Outreach Specialist with the New York State HIICAP program. He currently works for the NYC Department for the Aging and the Nassau HIICAP program. Barry started his federal career with the Social Security Administration for 4 years, then shifted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for 25 years. He finished his career administering senior programs for the US Administration on Aging.
