Restoration is working with the Coalition for Community Advancement to host a Teach-In on March 31, 2022 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in support of the Community Protection Act (A6574/ S5376).
The law is set to make it easier for families to purchase their first home through a removal of the mortgage recording tax for first-time home buyers purchasing homes worth less than $1 million. The law also will reduce the activity of speculators in our community by taxing the profits of homes purchased and resold within 2 years.
