TITLE: Content Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Development & External Affairs
REPORTS TO: Development Associate
TYPE: Temporary Part-time

Social Media Primary Function:
The Social Media volunteer will be responsible for growing the Corporation’s digital presence. The volunteer
will assist the Development Associate in planning, coordinating, and creating engaging content for a diverse
audience. This role will support sharing the story of Restoration’s impact in Brooklyn to the surrounding
community and beyond.

Time Commitment: No more than 10 hours per week

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist with Communications planning for small and larger corporation events
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely information distributions
  • Create, through graphics and copywriting, compelling content to post on Social channels
  • Research industry to find potential partnerships through social media
  • Monitor and support social campaigns based on data
  • Attend community and department events to take picture and video

Qualifications:

  • Maintains personal social media accounts with at least 500 followers
  • Knowledge of communities in Central Brooklyn
  • Willingness to learn about Non - Profit Communications
  • Sociable, dependable, flexible and detail oriented
  • From or Currently living in the community is a plus
