What does it mean to live in a healthy community?

In low income neighborhoods, where access to affordable housing and healthy food is challenging, what strategies can help improve health for residents?

Join Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) NYC and their community- based, government, health care, and academic partners as they discuss these questions together.  will share results of recent LISC NYC programs that have tapped into the strengths of community organizations to reduce health inequity in NYC neighborhoods, and discuss promising collaborations between health care institutions and community-based organizations.

Restoration's Tracey Capers will be speaking on the panel "Future of the Intersection of Health and Community Development"
