Meet Angela, who first came to Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation as a college student six years ago to complete her tax returns. Though she had one goal in mind, she took advantage of an array of services as she supported herself through school. From accessing food stamp benefits; to establishing credit through a secured credit card; to improving her credit Score from low 500s (result of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy) to 678; to working at Restoration as an intern then a tull-time employee! With hard work and dedication, she is now a 2012 Graduate of CUNY’s Medgar Evers College - - Cum Laude with a Baccalaureate Degree in Professional Studies. Angela has shown that taking advantage of the pipeline of Restoration services, namely Social Services, Financial Literacy, and Workforce Development, really pays off. Congrats!!!
