A Special Opportunity for Members of the Restoration Community

The Center for K12 STEM Education at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in Downtown Brooklyn has some spaces left in its summer STEM program for upper middle school students!
Science of Smart Cities (SoSC) introduces students to engineering, science, computer science and technology that make cities more sustainable, efficient, and safe. Working in teams, students design projects using what they learn about electronics and circuitry, coding, microcontrollers, sensors, and other hardware. During final presentations, students demonstrate how their project creatively provides a solution to a real-world challenge. They also receive public speaking and presentation skills through theater improv games!
Thanks to the generous support of private donors, the program is free to participants. The Center’s funding does not provide for food or transportation.
