Several of our eateries also have full bars for your evening enjoyment.

Bed-Stuy Alive! will open with a Gala Kick-off Festival on Fulton, from Brooklyn to New York Avenues. This outdoor rain-or-shine event has drawn thousands over the past three years. Help us honor our community heroes during the Tohma Y. Faulkner Awards Ceremony, which starts at 10:00. St. Paul Community Baptist Church will present an excerpt from the MAAFA, which is a depiction of the African Diaspora told in dance, music, and spoken word. At 12 noon, Restoration Rocks takes the stage with live music performances, featuring Brand Nubian and MC Lyte. Colorful vendors, information booths, health screenings, our famous food court, kids’ activities, and our Artists’ Row, featuring the Fulton Art Fair and the Bedford-Stuyvesant Artists’ Association round out an exciting day.

For more information on the Kick-off visit us at the Bed-Stuy Alive! website and facebook.
