There are two different volunteer responsibilities
Street Team – This role requires community outreach, attending events, and requires own transportation.
The Street Team to spread the word about the 10K race and encourage people register. We provide you with flyers and information to distribute at race events, community events, meetings, and wherever you visit on a regularly. This role requires standing and travel.
Time Required: 2 hours or less.
Race Day Volunteer – This role requires attending October 7th event at 8AM.
Race Day Volunteers provide hands on support to ensure smooth functioning of the event. This volunteer will assist by registering runners, vendor set up, leading school groups, among other responsibilities.
Time required: 5 hours (7AM-12PM)

Street team will meet on predetermined day.
Day of Volunteers will meet no later than 6:00AM under the tent to check in, set up and assigned to your duty.
This event is rain or shine, so please check forecasts in the morning. Most volunteers will be standing for long periods of time, so wear only closed toed shoes. Jeans and shorts ok. You will be given a volunteer badge for identification.
